It allows users to document detailed data such as target threats, suspects of interest, and sources of information, which can be geo-located on a system map. When this seemingly unrelated information is linked through the application, it could help to identify a criminal act and/or a pattern of suspicious activity, developing into criminal intelligence that requires broader investigation.

External Situational Awareness (ESA) – This alert notification tool provides intelligence Fusion Centers with the ability to set up automated “listening posts” around key locations through alerting profiles. Members are alerted to incidents worldwide that occur around these listening posts, 24x7. Historical Recording – The system offers complete recall to support post-incident review reports and additional analysis to evaluate best practices. Moreover, it is an essential administrative tool for tracking resource expenditures and reimbursement activities.

Secure Information Sharing – SAM is a secure Web portal where all information can be discussed and shared in a protected environment. Even though the information may not be classified, it must be handled securely, safe from unauthorized access.
